Mrs. Lamberth was born on September 3, 1927, in Waverly, AL, the daughter of the late William A. Price and Climmie Price.
Mrs. Lamberth lived most of her adult life in Augusta, GA. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Lamberth worked several years in the cotton mills at Tallassee, AL after graduating high school. After marrying and starting a family she became a homemaker. Mrs. Lamberth loved to cook and was well known for her banana pudding and cornbread dressing. Mrs. Lamberth was an avid bowler and played in many leagues with her late husband, children and friends. Mrs. Lamberth also was blessed with a green thumb and loved to garden. She was also a charter member of the Georgia/Carolina Boat and Ski Club at Clark Hill Lake.
She was preceded in death by her dearly beloved husband Joseph Klenzo Lamberth; a son, Kenneth E. Lamberth, 5 brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by her children Joseph “Ron” Lamberth, Linda Lamberth Collins, Don Lamberth, and Wayne (Lora) Lamberth. She is also survived by grandchildren Donnie and Andrea, Donna, Kenny, Lisa, Christopher (Shawna), Kara, Ronnie, Joseph “Preston” Cox (Ammie), Krystle (Keith) Agner, Nicole (John) Porter, J.T. Anson, and Ruby and Rose, 18 great grand children and many extended nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
