Daughter of the late Albert and Exola (Phillips) Welch; Jean was of the Assembly of God faith, retired as a bookkeeper with Dick Mooney Inc, and enjoyed traveling with her “Golden Girls”; in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Vaughan; one daughter, Sandy Vaughan Colbert; five brothers, Enos Welch, James Paul Welch, Albert Dewery Welch, Prestige Welch, and Willis “Dub” Welch, and two sisters, Ethel Henderson and Mary Eva Womack.
Survived by one son, two daughters, six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren (and all their respective families).
