She graduated from Albany Jr. College and practiced Dental Hygiene for over 20 years.
Survivors include: Husband of 17 years, Dennis Carter; Parents, Carl & Bertha Abbott; Brother & Sister-in-law, Tom & Sandi Abbott.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Private graveside will be held with Rev. Raymond Burnett officiating. Nieces and nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
