Debra Kay Jones Burns, 58 of Connersville, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 24, 2011 at her residence.
On September 26, 1952, she was born in Indianapolis, one of two daughters of Richard "Dick" and Bea Johnson Jones. She was a 1970 graduate of Connersville High School and attended Indiana University.
A resident of Indianapolis for many years, she returned to Connersville to live with her father a year ago.
She was employed for several years as a office manager at Wilds Home Restoration Company of Indianapolis and currently, she was obtaining a Medical Technician Degree at Med Tech of Indianapolis.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Burns of St. Augustine, FL; her father, Dick Jones of Connersville; and a number of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Bea Jones and a sister, Pamela Sue Jones.
