Jeffrey Arnold, 61, a lifelong resident of Hellam, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at York Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Cathy M. (Gift) Arnold of Hellam. They would have celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary on June 16th.

He was born February 4, 1955 in York, a son of Yvonne C. (Sowers) Arnold of Hellam and the late Henry L. “Hen” Arnold.

He was a 1973 graduate of York Vo-Tech. He was a welder at York Borg Warner for 19 years. Always reaching for the stars, Jeff attended night school at York Collage and attained his Real Estate License and began a successful career in Real Estate. He was an owner/associate Broker of ReMax Delivers and then continued with ReMax Patriots as an associate Broker.

Jeff was a modest man that inspired everybody he touched, challenging his friends and family to achieve their dreams. He cherished time with his family; inviting family into their home for Thanksgiving, boating at the beach, and watching his grandchildren grow; his family was always near to his heart! As a pillar of the community, he was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Hallam, Kreutz Creek Valley VFW Post #7045, Hawk Gunning Club, York Forest #30, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Riverside Lodge #503, F&AM, and RAYAC.

In addition to his wife, Cathy, he is survived by their two daughters, Stephany Schulz and her husband Spencer of Mount Wolf, and Angela Card and her husband Vincent of York, grandchildren; Kylie Billet, Dylin Schulz, and Arianna and Isabella Card; Sister Cynthia Stadel and partner Dan Gall from Iowa; two brothers, Steven Arnold and his wife Kathy of Hellam, and Samuel Arnold and his partner Maria Davis of Airville and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Daisy.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ, 200 East Market Street, Hallam with his pastor, the Rev. Kelly Shiflett, officiating. Burial will be in Canadochly Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday from 12 Noon to 2:00 p.m. at the church. Masonic Services will be conducted by Riverside Lodge #503, F&AM.
