HOLIFIELD, Roscoe Jr. - Of Flint Township, age 64, died Monday, October 19, 1998 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral service will be held at 1PM Thursday, October 22, 1998 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Elder J.C. Hager officiating. Entombment in Flint Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice. Visitation 4-9PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Holifield was born in West Virginia on December 12, 1933. He married Gaynell J. Mongold on January 3, 1995 in Flint. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of UAW Local #1292. Mr. Holifield retired from Grand Blanc Metal Fab. Surviving are his wife, Gaynell; son, Daniel and wife Robin of Linden; daughter, Theresa and husband Dwight Reynolds of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina; 4 step-children; 10 grandchildren; 2 brothers and 1 sister.
