Pat started working in Radio Broadcasting when he was 16 years old and was recognizable radio personality in the Salina and McPherson area. Pat attended Hutchinson Junior College. He was an avid drummer and musician and was a member of many bands, including the band called “Whirlwind”. Pat was the owner of Foster Group Advertising and most recently Sales and Marketing Manager at Harley Davidson of Salina. Pat was a long time member and ambassador at the Chamber of Commerce and was the current Chairman of Ambassadors. He also has served on the board of directors at Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Pat was preceded in death by his father, Wayne; brother, Mike; father and mother-in-law, Wallace and Darlene Schnepf; and many beloved pets.
He is survived by his wife, Julie; daughter, Brianna Quinley and husband Kevin; mother, Lillian Foster; brother, Jeff Foster and Amy Sarver; treasured golden retrievers, Jackson and Jemma; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and many cherished friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina, with a private family inurnment in McPherson Mausoleum, McPherson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Julie Foster, in care of the mortuary.
