Kathleen Cramer Carnes, 72, of Steelton, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Swatara Township.
She was a retired Teller at Dauphin Deposit Bank & Trust Co. and M&T Bank, as well as a Switchboard Operator at Dauphin Manor and Spring Creek. She was a member of the former St. James Roman Catholic Church, Steelton and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton.
Kathy was the widow of Theodore R. Carnes, Sr. and is survived by two sons, Dana M. Hinkle and wife, Nicole of Steelton and Milton C. Carnes at home; four step-daughters and two stepsons, Dorothy A., Kathy L., Ida S., Beth A., Russell E., and Theodore R., Jr.; one brother, Jim Cramer of Palmyra; one sister, Ethel Estep of Elizabethtown; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 815 S. Second St., Steelton with Rev. Joseph F. Gotwalt as Celebrant. Private burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 am until 10:30 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton.
