JEANNE I. BENDER (nee Ilgen) of Chagrin Falls. May 1, 1943 - May 9, 2016.

Wife of 51 years of H. David Bender; mother of Eric David (Kathryn) Bender, and John Wallace (Susie) Bender; grandmother of Sarah, Meghan, Elizabeth, Matthew, Grace, and Henry; sister of Nelson D. (Robin) Ilgen, Roger L. (Brenda) Ilgen and the late Duane R. Ilgen and Nancy J. (Harris) Lipton.

Jeanne received her Nursing Diploma from Geisinger Medical Center in 1964 and her B.S.N. from Ursuline College in 1985. Jeanne devoted much of her life to the caring and support of others. Whether she was giving aid through her long career in nursing, or providing deep friendship to her family and friends, she was always looking for a way to help. She was devoted to God and active in her church.

Memorial Service Saturday, 10 AM, May 14, 2016 at Pioneer Memorial Presbyterian Church, 35100 Solon Rd., Solon, OH 44139. A luncheon will follow the services where the family will visit with friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pioneer Memorial Presbyterian Church (www.pioneersolon.org).
