Mrs. Cora Belle Jones Stafford, 76, of Hebron, died in her home after a prolonged illness. A retired registered nurse, she was a supervisor at the New Jersey State Hospital, Trenton. NJ, for 17 years. Born in Wicomico County, MD, to the late Thomas H. and Georgianna Johnson, and was married to the late Robert Emory Jones of Whiton and to the late James Otis Stafford of Dover. Also, proceeded in death is her sister Mrs. Marie Reynolds and a brother Suell Johnson.

Survivors include a son, John E. Jones (Olga) of Quantico; two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Lennox (Charles) of Hebron and Mrs. Hilda G. Austin (Jake) of Norfolk. Va.; 10 grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Alice Donoho (Earl) of Hebron.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. from the Holloway Funeral Home by the Rev. Clarence J. Fox, Pastor of the Pittsville Methodist Charge. Burial will be in the Mardela Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call tonight after 7:30 at the funeral home.
