Mark Anthony Harper, age 20, of Broxton, GA passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at his residence following a brief illness.
Mr. Harper was born on August 5, 1995, in Douglas, GA to Monte Anthony Harper and Deborah Diane Dampier Harper. Survivors include: his mother, Deborah Dampier Harper of Broxton, GA; father, Monte Anthony Harper of Broxton, GA; fiancé, Marti Brooke Carter of Broxton, GA; son, Laysen Harper of Broxton, GA; brother, Matthew Scott (Bre) Harper of Broxton, GA; sister, Suzanne (Allen) Carelock of Broxton, GA; grandmother, Mamie Frances “Sue” Harper of Broxton, GA; additional family members, Terri Cater of Broxton, GA, Chris Cater of Broxton, GA, Ryan (Santana) Cater of Enterprise, AL, Mason Cater of Pearson, GA and Rae (Yancey) Guthie of Broxton, GA; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jack and Ruth Dampier and paternal grandfather, R.E. “Revenal” Harper.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Broxton Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Broxton Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Adkins and Rev. Derek Herlocker officiating. Interment will follow at Reedy Branch Church Cemetery.
