Beverly June Newman, 80, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday May 10, 2016 at LaSalle County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Friday May13 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a. m. to 12 p. m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.
Beverly was born December 23, 1935 in Ottawa to Russell and Vada (Cavanaugh) Gumm. In 1957, she married Robert Newman of Ottawa who preceded her in death in 2000.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy (Craig Smith) Bienemann of Utica and Roxanne Polach of Ottawa; two sons, Kevin (Liz Chase) Newman of Port Charlotte, FL and Robert Newman Jr. of Ottawa; six grandchildren, Jeff, Sean, Amy, Tiffany, Lindsey, and Cody; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Patricia (Robert) Gast of Earlville, Sharon Castelli of Ottawa, Phyllis Sandrolini of Scottsdale, AZ, and Carol Roberts of Burbank, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
