Frederick "Hoyt" Sansbury , 88, passed away Friday, February 05, 2010 in Myrtle Beach. He was born November 21, 1921 in Florence County, son of the late Frederick Haynesworth Sansbury and Lenora McLaughlin Sansbury . He was a devoted husband to the late Marion Haselden Sansbury . A grandson Robbie Sansbury , two sisters Alma Anderson and Macie Childers, and two brothers Baron Sansbury and Haynie Sansbury predeceased him. Hoyt graduated from Tans Bay High School in Florence County. He moved to Myrtle Beach in 1966, to operate the Broadway Restaurant and later owned and operated the Silverhook Restaurant. He was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of Masonic Lodge #419 for over 60 years, a Shriner, and member of the Myrtle Beach Moose and Elks Lodge. Hoyt served his county during WWII in the United States Army. Entombment will follow at Southeastern Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
