Graveside services for Ms. Pee Wee Hopper were held on Sunday, January 3, 2010, at 2:00p.m. at Salem Cemetery near Freestone. Bro Steve Cowart officiated. Ms. Hopper passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009, at the Methodist Hospital in Dallas. She was born in Corsicana to Bob & Laura Hopper on January 1, 1921. Ms. Hopper grew up in Mexia. She loved to fish, make canned food for her loved ones, play dominoes, watch the Dallas Cowboys and Rodeo. She also loved her nephews, Ricky and Larry Wills, whom she raised. Ms. Hopper is survived by her sisters, Willie Mae Rose of Teague and Francis Gray & husband Bob of West Columbia, Tx; her brother, Don Hopper Houston; Eight Nephews, Ricky Gene Wills & wife Carolyn of Teague, Larry Wills & wife Becky of Teague, Rick Gray and Mark Gray of West Columbia, Jackie Wilson of Pensacola, Florida, Tony Rose & wife Donna of Sweeney, Larry Rose & wife Elizabeth and Buzzy Rose & Jeanette of Damon. As well as numerous great Nieces and Nephews.
