Julia Moss Vincent was born on October 30, 1948 to Raphael Grant and Geneva (Neva) Jackson. She passed away on May 9, 2016 in St. George, Utah after complications of a heart attack.

Preceded in death by her father, mother, second mother, Elaine Watson Moss, brothers, Tony (Betty) Moss, Ronnie Moss and Craig (Peggy) Moss. Survived by her husband, Edward A. Vincent, who were married in the Salt Lake Temple on March 19, 1970; daughter, Andria Vincent; son, Jason (Jaci) Vincent; grandsons, Jaxson, Solomon and Beckham Vincent; granddaughters, Abbey and Katie Kinder; siblings, April (Erv) Mantle, Pam (Gene) Erickson, Paula (Don) LeSueur, Dan (Shelly) Moss and Michelle (Richard) Hall

Julia’s goal in life was to live long enough to see her children grow up, marry, see and know her grandchildren and she accomplished that. Julia was a type 1 diabetic diagnosed at the age of 12, until she received a kidney and pancreas transplant in 1990 which gave her 26 years of extra time on this earth to accomplish that goal. Julia was a strong, uncomplaining, faithful woman with a strong testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. We never heard Julia speak ill of anyone. She was loved by anyone who was able to get to know her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Hidden Valley 4th Ward, 1450 Raddon Drive, Sandy, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah and 1 hour prior to the services, at the church, Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
