STANTON - Edward D. (Louie) Conley, 71, husband of Carolyn Crowe Conley died Wed, March 7, 2007 at his residence. A native of Salyersville, KY, he was a son of the late Adrian and Opal Hamilton Conley. He was retired after 32 years from East Kentucky Power Coop. and presently operated Stanton Sporting Goods & Pawn Shop. He was a member of the Valley of Lexington, KY Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, S.J., USA, the National Rifle Assoc., a former member of Red River Bass Club, a Kentucky Colonel, a custom knife maker & bait crafter, an avid trap shooter and fisherman. Other surviving relatives are his three daughters: Jo (Billy) Luxon, Richmond, KY, Beth (Darren) Pennington and Becky (Doug) Brewer, both of Stanton, KY; four brothers: Ray (Joyce) Conley & Tom (Chris) Conley both of Lexington, KY, Bob (Barbara) Conley, Stanton, KY & Damon (Billie) Conley, Winchester, KY; four sisters: Mildred (Jim) Gilbert & Doris (Larry) Mullins both of Stanton, KY, Judy (Ira) Ledford and Glenda (Gordon) Miller both of Winchester, KY; and his seven grandchildren: Lacey, William & Landry Luxon, Tyler & Baylee Brewer, Adrian & Alyssa Pennington. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: Gary, Daryl and Jerry Conley. Funeral services officiated by Pastor David Rule will be held at Noon Sat, March 10, 2007 at Hearne Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is 5-9pm Fri at the funeral home. Active pallbearers are Tyler Brewer, William Luxon, Tim Terry, Shane Conley, Fred Shortridge & Johnny Faulkner.
