Funeral service for Ernest O. Chandler, 89, will be Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Joe Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL. Mr. Chandler died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. Mr. Chandler was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He worked 33 years for Kimberly-Clarke and was a lifelong member of Fayetteville Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoor sportsman and excellent farmer. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette B. Chandler; son, Ernest Chandler Jr. wife, Linda of Fayetteville; daughter, Doris Chandler of Birmingham; two grandsons, Ernest O. Chandler III wife, Melissa of Fayetteville, Jimmy McClure of Birmingham; two great-granddaughters, Ella Claire Chandler, Emmi Reese Chandler.
