Nancy Hagy Staley, 97, of Wytheville, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016, born in Wythe County, the daughter of the late William Curtis and Ida King Hagy.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husbands, Tech Sgt. Raymond O. Joyal in 1944 and Arthur H. Staley in 1960; three brothers, Carson, Bill and Muncy; sisters, Georgia, Allie, and Dona.
She was a member of St Johns Episcopal Church, Graduate of Post Hospital School of Nursing and worked in Food Services for many years. She loved her church, family, friends and traveling.
Survived by brother, John Hagy of Wilmore, Ky.; and several nieces, nephews and step grandchildren also survive.
Family will receive friends Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Grubb Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at a later date.
