Thomas Coulter Warner married Jane Smith on Dec. 25, 1825 in Warnerton, Washington Parish, Louisiana. Thomas Coulter Warner was son of Thomas Cargill Warner and Tabitha Cargill. Jane Smith Warner was daughter of Daughter of Jeremiah Smith and Joanna Dillon and is buried in Warner Cemetery, Warnerton, Washington Parish, Louisiana. He was a Methodist Minister.

We know that Thomas C. Warner's son, Jeremiah Thomas Warner was already in Jefferson, Marion County, TX about 1853 from statement on his CW pension application. Thomas Coalter Warner preached as long as he was able, until the affliction of cancer came upon him. He was told that if he went to Texas where the springs were, he surely could find medical relief, and possibly a cure. This he did, but found no cure. In the 1870 US Census Thomas C. Warner is living with Jeremiah Thomas Warner in Jefferson, Marion, Texas.
