Jimmy Lee Beason was born April 18, 1960 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Jack Beason and Leaetta Sawney. At the age of 56, he departed this life in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on May 8, 2016.

Jimmy served his country proudly as a veteran of the U.S. Army. He attended Tahlequah High School and then continued his education at Haskell University in Lawrence, Kansas from 1978-1979. He lived in the Tulsa area most of his life and worked in the communications industry as a broadband technician. He enjoyed kayaking, golfing, fishing and motorcycle riding.

Those preceding him in death include, his parents, Jack Beason and Leaetta Sawney and one brother, Edwin Williams.

He leaves behind, his fiancé, Diana Moutray; his children, Jimmy Lee Beason II and wife, Mona, of Lawrence, KS, Danielle Beason, of Oklahoma City, Maresa Beason and fiancé, Rolin Buckner, and Alicia Wolf, all of Stilwell; siblings, Billy Jack Beason, of Stilwell, Charles Deason, of Tahlequah, Ramona Ukestine and husband, Danny, of Wagoner, Ernestine Berry and husband, Don, of Park Hill; Eldine Stevens and husband, Leonard, of Haskell; Rhonda Walker and husband, Mike, of Roland and LaQuetta Lynn Beason, of Muskogee and nine grandchildren, Ayo Beason, Washoshe Beason, Maveyka Beason, Vanessa Blackwolf, Kyler Blackwolf, Natalie Goodrich, Adrianna Buckner, Callie Doublehead and Alexander Bunch. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.
