Donald Sadler, affectionately known as "Duck", was born November 9, 1935 to parents William (Bill) and Bertha McAdams Sadler.

He passed away Thursday, May 5 surrounded by his loving family. As we sorrowfully released him he was joyfully welcomed into God's loving embrace.

Donald owned several successful busineses in the McKinney area including Sadler Auto Salvage, Sadler Towing and Wrecker Service and Sadler Demolition and Excavation.

He was a very hardworking man his entire life and loved the Lord, his wife and children with all his heart and soul.

Donald is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruby Justice Sadler, daughters Donna (Geoffrey) Ammeter, Ople (Ron) Medders and Brenda (John) Kellen, sons Billy (Sherrie) Sadler, Donny (Jamie) Sadler and Ronny Sadler, 27 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, Sisters Billie Harrison and Joyce Wright and brother Charles (Janey) Sadler; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, including special cousin Milburn (Shirley) McAdams and many special friends.

Donald was predeceased by his parents, sisters Ruby Rushing and Ople Kiser, brothers Johnny and W.A. (Boots) Sadler.

Duck was the most devoted husband, treasured father, dependable brother and loyal friend. If there was a need he was a friend indeed. Most of all he was a great provider. To the lost he gave direction, to the hungry he gave food, for the troubled he gave advice and for the broken, he gave love.

All of those things he provided free of charge and only wanted love and friendship in return.
