1935 – 2016
David Workman lived a full life centered on being the best husband, father and grandfather he could be to his family. While serving in the Air Force, David found and married the love of his life, Donna Van Der Werff and they were blessed with taking life's journey together for over 60 years. Following his service to our country, David had a successful career as a metrology engineer with Lockheed, Simco and Martin Marietta. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Masonic chapter in Lead, SD. David and Donna raised their family in Fremont, CA and Lead, SD. After a brief return to California, they moved to Denver, CO where he finished his career and following his retirement moved to Ft. Worth, TX. David is survived by his wife Donna, three children, David, Daniel and Diane, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two sisters, Marilyn Margrave and Linda Netterville. David will be missed by all who knew him but will remain alive in the memory of being a great husband and family man as well as a good friend and inspiration to all those whom he touched in his life.
