Mrs. Elanor C. Gunter, age 74, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016. She was born January 30, 1942 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Carl and Lula Bell Gomillion Campbell.
Mrs. Gunter was a resident of Walton County. She was Presbyterian by faith and a member of the Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed listening to country music and going to concerts.
Mrs. Gunter is preceded in death by her parents and one son Carl Gregory Laird.
Mrs. Gunter is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Bobby Gunter, one son, Charles Laird of Euchee Valley, one daughter-in-law Mindy Laird; one sister Annette Jones and husband Gayland all of Euchee Valley, Florida and one granddaughter Karly Denes and husband Matt. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law Dianne Scroggins and husband Jeff and Virginia Marcum.
Visitation services will be held 6:00~8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home ; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Durl Odom officiating.
Floral arrangements are being accepted.
Pallbearers will be Dewitt Campbell, Ronnie Pugh, Dennis Hall, Andy Hall, Johnny Irvin and Ken Morgan.
Burial will follow in the Euchee Valley Cemetery.
