Lizzie Mae Lane Price slipped away peacefully and entered into eternal rest on December 8, 2015 at the age of 92.
She was born on August 4, 1923, the eldest child of the late Felix Elmer Lane and Pearl Lee Moore Lane, in San Augustine, Texas.
Lizzie confessed Christ at an early age at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in the St. Luke Community. She remained a faithful and active member of the mission department for over 50 plus years.
She married James Mayfield 'Pay' Price on December 30, 1940, in San Augustine, Texas and to this union was born James Cecil Price Sr. She was a very devoted wife and mother to her family and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Mayfield 'Pay' Price; father, Felix Lane; mother, Pearl Lee Moore Lane; sister, Lillian Ruth Lane and brothers, Doil Nathaniel Lane and Jessie Calvin Lane.
She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted son, James Cecil Price Sr. with wife Zenette of Tyler, Texas; step-daughter, Vera Ann Mosby of San Augustine, Texas; siblings' Bobbie Lewis Lane, Wilma Joy Lane Berry, Cammilla Ella Lane, Nancy Ruth Lane Watts Clay, Jimmie Louis Lane Nash and Roy Rogers Lane; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; eight great, great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
