David D. Frye, 68, of Henry died May 7, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Peoria. Born in Spring Valley on March 4, 1948 to the late Paul and Edith Dennis Frye, he married Jeanette Corkill on May 26, 2002. Jeanette died on July 1, 2015.

Over the years David worked at Minnie Machine, McNabb Motorsports, and Northwoods Community Church’s Chillicothe Center where he was also a faithful member.

David is survived by his children, Mary (Howard) Baggs of Sparland; Elaine (Rick) Townsend of Wellington, KS; Dale (Kim) Gallant of Chillicothe; Jack (Tammy) Gallant of Pond Creek, OK; sister Paula (Glenn) Feddericke of Hennepin; brother Daniel Frye of Henry; brother- in-law Lonnie Siegman of Magnolia; 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his sister Patricia Siegman and grandchild Natasha.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 11 at 11 am at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon with a visitation one hour prior to services. Pastor Craig Smith will officiate and private family inurnment will be at a later date in the Henry Cemetery.
