Lela Margaret (Smith) Bell Beckham, 82, of San Antonio and formerly of Brady, died Saturday, Jan. 4 in San Antonio. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Rusty Kwast officiating. Burial followed in the Rest Haven Cemetery. She was born Oct. 13, 1920, in Segtuin. She married Clarence Bell. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Sunset Ridge Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading the Bible, attending church and singing hymns. She is survived by her husband, Bill Beckham of Brady; and nieces and nephews, Lana McCord, Lori and Danny Orr and Troy and Lindsay Hanz, all of San Antonio.
