Amanda (Knepp) Yoder, 85, of Montgomery, entered into eternal rest at 8:27 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Daviess County, IN on May 6, 1931 to the late Samuel and Rosanna (Yoder) Knepp.
Amanda married Alvin E. Yoder on April 4, 1953 and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2011.
She was member of Canaan Fellowship Church.
Amanda was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Rosanna (Yoder) Knepp; husband, Alvin E. Yoder; sisters, Mary, Susie, Elvena, Elizabeth and Fannie; brothers, Noah, Joseph, Wilmer and Samuel Jr. and 4 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters, Linda (Willard) Knepp of Fairland, OK., Loretta (Delbert) Knepp, Betty (David) Knepp, both of Montgomery, Leona (Gerald) Graber of Plainville and Christina (Robert) Warne of Washington; sons, Alvin Ray (Joyce) Yoder of Rockville, KY., David (Phyllis) Yoder, Samuel (Loretta) Yoder, Jerry (Sarah) Yoder, Lloyd (Karen) Yoder, all of Loogootee, and Floyd (Betty) Yoder of Owentown, KY.; 44 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; sisters, Alma (Joe) Stoll, Rosa (Leroy) Stoll, Naomi (Amos) Graber; sisters-in-law, Mary (Noah) Knepp, Katie (Wilmer) Knepp and Naomi (Nick) Stoll.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2016 at Simon J. Graber Complex in Odon. Burial will follow in Canaan Fellowship Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at First Mennonite Church and Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Simon J. Graber Complex.
