Edith Jewel Parker 89 passed away Monday morning, may 9, 2016, in the Mount Moriah Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. Edith was born in Wilson, Missouri to Hugh Daniel and Lillie Leona McGowan Miller. She moved to the Hemphill Community in 2006, where she came from Mexico, Missouri. She worked in the Medical Records department in the Hospital. Edith was a wonderful woman, she always had a smile on her face. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Connie Tarver of Hemphill, her 12 grandchildren, her 24 great grandchildren, and her 11 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Milton Evan Davis, her 3 sons: Billy Evan Davis, Bobby Gene Davis, and Stephen Evan Davis, her grandchild Brenda Lee Davis, and her 2 great grandchildren: Kyle Lee Davis and Jensen Matthew Koskovich.

Cremation under the direction of the Starr Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held in Mexico, Missouri at a later date.
