LAYTON - Joan Pulsipher Hutchinson, age 79, passed away May 1, 2016. She was born December 15, 1936 in Brigham City to Joseph Martin Pulsipher and Lillie Louise Olsen. She married Earl Harold Hutchinson Jr., they later divorced.
Joan worked at the Officer's Club at HAFB as a cook until she retired. She loved to cook for her family and anybody that was around. She loved traveling. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed many activities and loved the people in her ward. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Surviving are her children: James (Nancy) Hutchinson, Cindy (R.J.) Loken, Daniel (Donnie) Hutchinson, Cheyney Hutchinson, LaVerna (Lane) Nalder, Reynold Hutchinson, Brian (Dodie) Hutchinson; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Joseph Pulsipher. Joan was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Samuel; her great-granddaughter, Amy; and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the LDS Church: 2160 West Gordon Ave. Layton, Utah. Friends may visit family Monday, May 9, 2016 from 6 - 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Interment at Memorial Garden of the Wasatch.
