Whitesboro – William Edgar Adams, 73, of Collinsville, died Tuesday in the Katy Hospital in Denison.
He was a native of Collinsville, born Nov. 9, 1896, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Adams. He married Emma Cavin, May 19, 1918 and was a retired section foreman of MKT Railroad. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Chamber of Commerce.
Services will be conducted Thursday at 2 pm in Richards Chapel in Whitesboro. Avon Whitworth will officiate with interment in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife; two brothers, J.L. Adams of West and Earl Adams of Norman, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Gibson of Collinsville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
