Annie Jean Hudson, 71, passed away Thursday May 5, 2016, in Kansas City, Kan. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday May 10, at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery. Annie was born April 9, 1945, in Pembroke, NC, to William and Pearl Strickland, both preceding her in death. She is also preceded in death by sister, Mildred Strickland. Annie is survived by her husband, Charles Hudson, daughters, Mia Christine Hudson, Sarah Jean Parks (David), Lisa Renee Urban (Tim), brothers, Marshall Strickland, Craymon Strickland, Jimmy Strickland, Vernon Strickland, sisters, Celester Bullard, Myrna Chavis, Fay Jacobs, Linda Kay Strickland and four grandchildren, Elia Parks, Caleb Parks, Andrew Urban and Matthew Urban.
