Virginia L. Neuser, age 77, of Whitelaw, died peacefully Monday, May 2, 2016 at her residence with her family at her side.

The former Virginia L. Knuth was born on August 28, 1938 in Maribel, daughter of the late Norman and Alma (Loppnow) Knuth. She attended Maribel Grade School and graduated from Denmark High School. On May 30, 1959 she married Wayne A. Neuser in Francis Creek. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2008. Virginia was an avid crossword puzzler and enjoyed playing Jeopardy with her family every day, rarely losing. She also enjoyed watching PBS mysteries

She is survived by her five children: Douglas W. Neuser, Whitelaw; Scott Neuser and his fiancé: Margie Doern, Sheboygan Falls; Leanne Booher, Whitelaw; Eric Neuser, Whitelaw; Craig Neuser, Kellnersville and his special friend: Antonia Girard; five grandchildren: Jasmine and Brandon Neuser, Sheboygan Falls; Andrew Booher and his special friend: Megan Kettner, Kaukauna; Alexander Booher, Orlando, FL; Alison Booher, Whitelaw. She is survived further by a brother and sister; one sister-in-law; Sharon Schamburek, Manitowoc; one brother-in-law: Elmer Retzlaff, Two Rivers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Norman and Alma Knuth; her husband: Wayne A. Neuser; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Frank and Rose Neuser; son-in-law: Bill Booher; one special sister: Marcy Retzlaff; brother-in-law: Bob Bries.

Private family services were held at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville. Rev. Richard Klingeisen officiated with burial of her cremated remains to take place at a later date at Kossuth National Cemetery.
