OAKVILLE — Harold and Doris (Ducheasneau) Lynch, ages 84 and 77, were reunited in heaven on May 4, 2016 after being separated by Harold's death just two weeks ago at Valerie Manor in Torrington.

Harold passed away on April 25, 2016 followed by Doris' death on the May 4, 2016, also at Valerie Manor in Torrington. They were married June 13, 1959.

Mr. Lynch was born in New Haven, Conn. on Dec. 23, 1931, the son of the late Francis and Mildred (Forsythe) McCormack. Doris was born in Waterbury on Sept. 13, 1938, the daughter of the late Albert and Rita (McKenna) Ducheasneau.

Harold had worked for many years as an electrical sales representative for Eichon & Stickler and later at Northwest Environmental Water Labs. Doris spent more than 55 years working as a registered nurse and worked for several medical facilities, including UConn Health Care Center in Farmington, the Canton School System, in addition to many private duty assignments.

Harold and Doris were members of the Seacoasters Group and enjoyed traveling the country in their motorhome, and also enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage and setback.

Mr. and Mrs. Lynch are survived by their daughters, Kellee Lynch and her husband Christopher Downey, of Oakville, Tara Dean of Weatogue, Conn.; their daughter-in-law, Sherri Lynch Downey of Bristol; their grandchildren, Stephanee Synnott, Sarah and Joshua Dean, Scott Jr., Steven, Sean and Samantha Lynch, and John and Katie Smith; their great-grandchildren, Kellen and Emerson Lynch; many cousins, including Fred, Helen, Carol and Mike; as well as many other extended family members.

They were predeceased by their children, Scott Lynch Sr. and Heather Lynch.

A memorial service for Mr. and Mrs. Lynch will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 8 p.m. at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main St., Oakville, Conn. Burial will be held directly at Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury on Thursday morning, May 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends may visit with the Lynch family at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
