Lorna, age 87 of Fircrest, Washington, beloved wife and mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went home to be with the Lord, March 23, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Arvie, and her son, Scott. Lorna graduated from Stadium High School. During World War II she worked at Central Bank in Tacoma. She met her husband when he came to work at the bank and they were married February 14th, 1948.

Lorna was an avid skier and skied most of the winter months on Mt. Rainier. She was a downhill champion at Sun Valley. She loved gardening and was a nationally recognized flower judge. She played golf at Fircrest golf club where they joined in 1952, and was president of the 18-Hole Division for 2 years. However, she will be best remembered for her incredible holiday celebrations.

A private burial service was held at New Tacoma Cemetery.
