Charles E. Stone, 98, widower of Lorraine Anderson Stone, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at his home. Born in Winchester, Kentucky, on July 9, 1923, he was the son of the late Charles and Bernice Ellwanger Stone. He was a United States Veteran and a retired electronics technician at Lexington Bluegrass Army Depot. He and his wife Lorraine were founding members of Grace Baptist Church where he served faithfully as a deacon for many years.

Survivors include three sons, Tom (Dinah) Stone, Donnie Stone, and Ron (Vicki Phillips) Stone; grandchildren, Katie (Adam) Conner, Emilie (Josh) Fuhr, Ryan Timothy (Katie Booth) Stone, Rachel (Andrew) Perkins, Zachary (Penni) Stone, and Regan (Nick) Eckert; great grandchildren, Grayson Fuhr, Caleb Fuhr, Willow Fuhr, Piper Stone, Lincoln Stone, another baby boy on the way, Eliana Perkins, Abigail Perkins, brothers, Lewis C. (Margaret) Stone and Daniel (Ann) Stone; several extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Larry Stone; three brothers and five sisters.

Services will be at 1:00PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel by Pastor Pat Finley. Burial will follow in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11:30AM until time of service of Wednesday.

The family would like to thank the following caregivers for their loving care in his last months: Chris Banks, Brittany Banks, Pat Ritchie, Tim Ritchie, Bonita Rookstool, and Tanna Howard. The family would also like to thank Hospice East for their wonderful care and support.
