Obituary:
Jane (Little )Todd, 79, widow of E. G. Todd, and a life-long resident of Ramona, Oklahoma, died Monday evening November 6, 2000, at the family residence.
Graveside committal rites will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, on the family plot of the Ramona Cemetery with Roman Ward presiding.
Services and committal rites are under the direction of the Neekamp Funeral Home.
A memorial has been established for the Caney Valley Medical Foundation, P.O. Box 175, Ramona, Oklahoma 74061.
Todd was born December 7, 1920 in Ramona to Washington County pioneers, Frank H. and Bertha (French) Little. The ‘Little’ Ranch was one of the largest ranches in Washington County, started by her family prior to statehood. She graduated from Ramona High School in 1938, and Oklahoma A & M in 1942. Following her schooling, she worked for Gulf Oil Company. She married E. G. Todd on March 25, 1946. They lived and worked on the family ranch.
Jane was a member of the Methodist Church; a charter member of the Cowbells: was a founding board member of the Caney Valley Medical Foundation; was a member of the Tuesday Club; and a Polling volunteer.
Survivors include: three daughters, Ann Holliday Adcock, Theresa Jane Holtz and Elizabeth Ann Moore, all of Ramona; a sister, Elizabeth Collins of Ramona; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, E. G.; an infant daughter, Martha Ann; and her parents.
