Floyd B. Gaskin, 79, of Greensburg, formerly of Monroeville, died Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Hempfield Manor. He was born Jan. 15, 1937, in Greensburg, a son of the late Paul and Maude Baker Gaskin. He was a graduate of both St. Vincent Prep School and the College of Steubenville. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Monroeville and the Norwin Elks, and was a former member of the PA Air National Guard and the Air Force Reserves. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Gaskin; his sister, Katie Shope; and a niece, Amy Vaughan. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Gaskin; three daughters, Sharon Gaskin and her husband, Robert Butterfield, Michelle Goodenough and her husband, Jerry, and Kristin Gralluzzo and her husband, Pasquale "Pat"; and four grandchildren, Ian, Brian, Evan and Sarah. He is also survived be a nephew, James Shope, of Greensburg; and sister-in-law, Nancy Matrunics, of Ligonier.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of service at noon on Monday, May 9, 2016 at the COSHEY-NICHOLSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 319 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, with the Rev. Martin Wright officiating. Interment will follow at the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice or to a charity of one's choice . Alvin P.Oskin Jr. Supervisor in charge of arrangements.
