2016 obituary. GRAY - Robert B Adler born August 24, 1937 to Frederick and Christine Simonson Adler of Gray, passed away April 24, 2016, at Winter Haven Hospital in Florida. He married Merilyn Taylor Sept. 12, 1958, and lived in Gray until he retired and moved to Florida. Following her death he moved into a motorhome in Lake Wales. Bob drove a school bus and was a carpenter prior to retiring from Merrill Transport in the late 1990's. While he loved his many campers and meeting folks, he also loved making things from native Maine pine. His brother Frederick Adler formerly of Gray and his sister Emma Hilton of Yarmouth previously passed away. Burial service at the Gray Cemetery will be at a later date.
