Leo M. Moore, 79 passed away May 2nd, 2016 at First Health Hospice House, in Pinehurst North Carolina.

He was born on November 17, 1936 in Mortonville Pennsylvania to Robert Eugene Moore Sr. and Edythe Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Roger, Carl and Bob.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pat Moore and three sisters, Joan Simmers, Phyllis Moore and Christine Whitby. Leo had three children Rodger, Michael and Carol Zerkowski and four grandchildren, Eric Moore, Jessica Turner, Stephanie Moore and Dalton Zerkowski. Leo also has two great grandchildren, Tessa and Emma Turner.

Leo was in the Air Force during the Korean War, stationed in Keflavik, Iceland with the 53rd Air Sea Rescue Squadron, he continued his military service in the Pennsylvania National Guard after leaving the Air Force. He served as the Chief of Police in Modena, a constable and volunteer at the Modena, Lincoln and Ephrata Fire Departments. Prior to retirement Leo worked many years as a Truck driver.
