In July 1927 she was married to Glenn Bartlett, who passed away in April of 1969.
Gladys had been ill the past 4 1/2 years. She leaves one daughter, Irene; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter. She also is survived by three sisters, Gwenolyn Martinek, Carolyn Hicks, both of California and Ethel Johnson of Van Meter.
The funeral service for Gladys M. Bartlett was held at the Fisher Funeral Home, in Van Meter, on Wednesday, March 21, at 2 p.m.
Rev. Clyde Sparks was in charge of the rites and Mrs. Neale Caudron was organist. Pallbearers were Fred Kern, Claude Pettis, Fred Pettis, Jake E. Zenor and Don Pettis. Burial was at the Van Meter Cemetery.
