April 29, 1933 ~ May 5, 2016 (age 83) The angels came on May 5, 2016 and took Tom Eddy to be with his wife whom he has dearly missed since she passed away on March 30, 2012. Thomas was a retired bricklayer and built many homes in the Wintersville area. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting for golf balls and mushrooms. He was very proud of his service in the U.S. Army 11th Airborne. He was preceded in death by his wife Verla Mae Ferguson Eddy; sisters Sarah Jane Bryan and Shirley Bowman; brother George R. Eddy, Sr. He leaves behind his daughters Terri (Robert) Kirkpatrick of Wintersville and Carol (Rickie) Caputo of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandson Daniel (Lauren) Voght; granddaughter Terra Caputo (Michael) Charlillo; sister Mary Beebe of Steubenville. At the request of Thomas there will be no visitation or service. He will be buried beside his wife Verla at Fort Steuben Burial Estates
