She graduated from Scottville High School and married James G. Parker on October 21, 1965 in Ludington; they were married for 50 years. Lynn was employed at Wal-Mart in Ludington for 18 years and was very active in her community.
She was a member of Mason County Reformed Church, former member of the Pere Marquette Township Planning Commission, Mason County Victims Assistance Unit and a 4-H leader.
Lynn was also active in the Mason County Relay for Life, enjoyed doing crafts and also enjoyed her time spent with her grandchildren.
Lynn is survived by her husband, James G. Parker; two daughters, Sherry (Roger) Berndt of Scottville and Sue Parker of Ludington; one son, James (Shawn) Parker of Ludington; 11 grandchildren, Amanda (Travis) Palmer, Julie (Kent) Knudsen, Pauline (Brandon) Manning, Diamond Berndt, Gary Berndt, Peter Berndt, Breanna Parker, Seth Parker, Xaylee Hunter, Tianna Parker,and Darnel Hunter; two great grandchildren,Brianna Palmer, and Braden Palmer; and one brother, Dean (Shelley) McClellan of Ludington. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The Funeral Service for Mrs. Parker will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at 11 a.m. at King Funeral Home &Cremation Services in Ludington with Pastor Todd Bush and Pastor Seth Bush officiating.
Interment will be in West Riverton Cemetery.
