Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 11:00AM at the First Baptist Church, Pontiac, IL. with Rev. James O. Wolfe III officiating. Burial will be in South Side Cemetery, Pontiac. IL. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00-7:00PM at the First Baptist Church, Pontiac. Lois was born on January 20, 1952 in Fairbury, IL., a daughter of Clinton and Dorothy (Rice) Denham. She married Marshall K. Hoover on August 6, 1977 in Fairbury, IL. Survivors include her husband: Marshall Hoover-Pontiac, IL; one son: Eric (Missy) Hoover of Pontiac, IL and one daughter: Jennifer Hoover of Bloomington, IL; two grandchildren: Kate and Tyler Hoover; her Parents: Clinton and Dorothy Denham of Pontiac, IL; one sister: Linda Denham of Pontiac, IL. Lois was preceded in death by one sister: Karen Denham. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Lois was educated in Fairbury-Cropsey High School. She was a day care provider for more than thirty years. Lois was a member of the First Baptist Church -Pontiac, IL. Lois loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren whom she loved to spoil. She was an avid reader, a friend to everyone and Lois never met a stranger.
