Charles Buford Bugg, 72, of Harrodsburg died Thursday, May 5, 2016 at his residence. Born May 14, 1943 in Harrodsburg, Charles was the son of the late Hazel Bugg Dorsey. He was a Baptist by faith and a retired employee of Morgan’s Marathon where he was a mechanic and truck driver. Charles enjoyed music, fishing, animals and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.Survivors include two sons: Charles Clinton (Melissa) Bugg of Nicholasville and Billy (Alissa) Bugg of Harrodsburg, one daughter: Sherri Bugg of Lexington, one brother: Bobby (Linda) Bugg of Harrodsburg, two sisters: Debbie Dorsey of Harrodsburg and Teresa (Oscar) Pumphrey of Harrodsburg, three grandchildren: Matthew Bugg, Joshua Clemmons and Shawn Bugg, two great grandchildren: Landon Bugg and Mason Crank. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Chaplain Darrell Hahn officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Joshua Clemmons, Matthew Bugg, Shawn Bugg, Joe Boswell serving as pallbearers. Johnny Ryder will be an honorary pallbearer.
