Beatrice L. Pearson died May 4, 2016, at Quiet Oaks Hospice House, St. Augusta.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 9, at Calvary Community Church, St. Cloud, with Pastor Steve Eckert officiating.

Bea was born in Storden, to Christian (C.A.) and Alta (Vinding) Larson and raised in Benson. She graduated from Benson High School in 1938 and married B. Vern Pearson March 10, 1938, at First Baptist Church in Benson. They traveled across the country in his job as a manufacturer's representative before they settled back in Benson to open a small business together. Vern served overseas during World War II. Following the war, they lived in Benson and Duluth, eventually moving to St. Cloud in 1956 where they bought an automobile dealership. She remained active in its daily operation until her retirement at age 88.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern; parents; brothers, Rholan and DuWayne Larson; and grandchildren Molly, Lisa and Justin Pearson.
