Glenda Taft Blair Hester of Dyersburg, Tn passed from this life on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on June 30th, 1938 to Dolph Hensley Blair and William Clyde Blair. She was a graduate of Marshall High School.
She worked for Jimmy and Kathleen Sanders and as a waitress at the Motorcourt Resturaunt. Where she met her husband. Glenda married Jerry L. Hester in April of 1963. She moved all over the southern US with Jerry and his work. She had two children; Terrill and Jera.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, sister,Jeffra Blair Shantz, and her husband, Jerry Hester.
Glenda is survived by her brother, Glover Clyde "Buddy" Blair. Her children, Terrill Hester and Jera Hester Inman, and their children, Jessica and Jeremiah Hester, Ariel and Dillion Inman.
Graveside services for Glenda will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Dongola Cemetery near Marshall, Arkansas. James Dorphus Smithson will be officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers are Bob Blair, Bill Blair, and Bill Hester.
