Albert Edward Hollan Sr. passed away on May 3, 2016 in Magnolia, Texas. He was born on January 24, 1929 in Ellinger, Texas to Steve and Annie Hollan. Albert worked as a foreman at Mosher Steel which later became Trinity Industries. He was a member of Sons of Hermann and the VFW. He served his country in the US Army and was a Korean War Veteran. Every Saturday night, Albert participated in ballroom dancing with his wife, and on Sundays, he attended Fairhaven United Methodist Church. He also enjoyed exercising and swimming at the Dad’s Club. Albert is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Albert is survived by his wife Debbie Hollan; children Rebecca Hollan, Albert E. Hollan Jr. (Peggy), George Joswiak, James Joswiak, Carol A. Janak, and Joan C. Said (Steve); nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Albert was a loving father and husband and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
