MOULTON
Funeral for Wade Clinton Long, 75, of Moulton will be today, May 6, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Brannon Bradford officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Long, who died Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at his residence, was born Nov. 14, 1940, in Lawrence County to Rube Long and Faynell Roberts Long. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired as a water analyst for East Lawrence West Morgan Water Department. He attended Jones Chapel Church. His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Brenda Terry Long; son, Keith Long and Carol of Moulton; daughter, Tammy Muston and Andy of Town Creek; a Godsent son, Kristopher Long and Brooke; four grandchildren, Bryan Long, Kayden Long, Mandi Muston and Misty Shepard; great-granddaughter, Kaylee Shepard; four brothers, Kenneth Long, Jimmy Long and Linda, Mike Long and Jerry Long and Hilda; and two sisters, Pandora Layton and Troy and Tony Jones and Dallas.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Long, Darrell Terry, Barry Jackson, Barry Patterson, Hershel Henson and Troy Layton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Maness and Joy Lee Terry.
