Mr. Kevin W. Ross, age 58, passed away May 2, 2016 at Shands Hospital. Mr. Ross was a graduate of Eastside High School, class of 1976, and attended Santa Fe Community College where he earned an Associate Degree. Kevin served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, and started his business, North Central Florida Cleaning Service.
Mr. Ross is survived by his mother, Catherine Ross and two brothers, Theodore Ross, Jr., Charles A. Ross, all of Gainesville, FL.
Funeral Services for Mr. Ross will be held 3:30pm at the Female Protective Temple, Rev. Willie G. Mayberry, Officiating; burial will follow in Forest Meadows Memorial Park East. Arrangements entrusted to Chestnut Funeral Home, Inc., 18 N.W. 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL.
Mr. Ross will repose in the Chestnut Memorial Chapel on Friday, May 6th, 2016 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm, and on Saturday at the Temple from 2:30pm until the hour of Service. Family and friends are asked to meet on Saturday at the home of his mother, Mrs. Catherine Ross, 1106 S.E. 19th Street, Gainesville, at 2:30pm to form the cortege.
