Gilliam's first marriage was to Lavicy Adeline Brown in 1849. Her parents were Thomas Brown and Mary Elizabeth Morton.
Note: As much as I'd like for Gilliam to have another brother, "Thornton Thomas Marler" doesn't belong to this family. His father "was" a Stephen Marler born same year but died in 1856, not 1879. This inf. come from the book "Wayne co. Lost River Settlements & papers of H. Y. Mahrey". In it they mention sons Silas and Thornton Marler with his birth date of 1826-1919. This book can be seen online or bought.

Thorton is not Gillium's son. Can someone please remove him. There is a note on this page telling this also. Thank You.
